We are looking for a specialist growth-oriented Senior Fabric Merchandiser with 4-6 years of experience in sourcing and technical understanding of fabrics. Candidate should have experience of working with premium brands and MUST have a vision for brand growth. One who is capable and excited about achieving a fashion company’s fabric sourcing objectives during a high growth & optimization phase. You will work directly with the merchandising team and lead all aspects of sourcing.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and source premium woven, circular knitted fabrics and premium flat knit yarns from Indian as well as far east sources.

• Liaise with various teams including design, sourcing, marketing to develop and synchronize strategies to achieve ambition list as per the brands requirement

• Work closely with textile mills and testing labs, both for sourcing needs and technical resolutions in a timely manner

What we’re looking for:

• 4-6 years of experience in fabric sourcing & technical understanding of fabrics

• Hands-on knowledge of woven as well as knitted fabrics in terms of technical knowledge in developing new / versatile qualities and successfully executing till delivery

• Experience in managing small MOQ’s as per brand needs

• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop growth strategies and supply channel partner expansions

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in solving the issues
